Backup/save voice messages audio only
 
Hi,

Im new with Avaya but we are with a internal problem to solve.

We need to save (backup) the messages boxes for all employees that left our company. Is important for us at this moment (even we dont know the password for mostly cases) to have this saved in a secure place and release a CMM user license.

1) Is it possible to backup only the VOICE messages (the file with the audio and related informations for this box)?

2) Is it possible to pick up and save (backup) only the files associated with previosly chosen voice messages?

3) Is it possible to save only the audio files?

Modular Messaging Backups
 
First of all what voice mail application are you running. If it's Modular Messaging you can but only for the entire database. So restoring it back on top of the MM system is not an option.

That question has been bugging me. So I will talk to our data warehouse guys to see whether they can open the backups. If they can it may be possible to access just the recordings you want.

Our solution is a Modular one. I will try to discover inside the backup too.
