Does anyone know how to set up system events in an IPO 500v.2 - 9.1.500.145 ?

Are you trying to log traces through Monitor or Syslog?

In Manager: System Events|Alarms, Add... then select what you need.
Help will be helpful. You can get SNMP traps, syslog or emails. For email you also need to configure SMTP.
