Admin Server (internetd) failed to login

Please view the link above as it has a snapshot of what i am seeing. this is causing my messaging service to stop every morning. I can restart avaya and it will work again until the next morning. I dont know what any passwords are as i inherited this. No contracts other than a local company that has no idea what is going on. so I am coming here in hopes to save the day by accepting any help from the forum. I have read about going in and changing the (internet) and (internetd) passwords and also changing them in the trusted servers location. not sure what else it will effect if i do this.. Also imapi password seems to be used as well. this seems like an easy fix but i am so stumped. |
Hello,
Internetd /internet Trusted server is mainly used for voice mail -> email messaging service. Voicemail should continue to work. The only failure you might have due to this is - unable to access voicemail via message manager /pop3 /imap etc. you can always remove and add this trusted server, but i think we might need to check what exactly is wrong with this system Regards Sunil |
well i would like to try it. anything to get this going.. HR uses the email service to save vm for CYOA purposes.

The best approach would be to raise a Ticket and have a backbone engineer check the log once as this system is going down every morning.

Fixed!!
the issue was the service name is case sensitive and must be Internet Messaging for both "internet" and "internetd" Messaging server and administration server respectfully.
found the info here https://downloads.avaya.com/elmodocs...1/a_intmes.htm  |
