SIP trunk to SM Public address
 
Is the public address of the Collaboratory Session Manager able to accept SIP trunks?

I have whitelisted the IP of the originator in the firewall rules, and built elements etc. as per many of the ATAC integration guides, but I'm not seeing any type of response from SM. While this doesn't surprise me for an ICMP packet, I have tried sending SIP registrations to it with no response at all (I'd expect a REJECT or some such).

Any advice is appreciated.

you can have SIP Trunk with SM's virtual IP address only that is SM100 Security module IP address.

If it is being quietly dropped, it sounds like its a firewall block since you aren't getting up to the SIP protocol REJECT messages. Double check your rules and run a scan if you can to see if there is a listening endpoint on the SIP port
