Steps for 100% move of Avaya ccr 1.2 installation to new server?
Hello,
Does anyone have the steps for how to move an Avaya 1.2 CCR installation to a new server where all the user ids and configurations (wallboards, custom historical reports, views) are transferred to the new installation? Thanks, David |
Anyone?

The CCR installation manual (page 57) describes a CCR backup procedure of the SQL database which should work. The database at least should then be able to be restored on a different PC. At present I cannot see any other backup method for the user screens etc and they would have to be set up again on the new PC Hope this answers your question? |
jsharry,
Hello, thanks for the reply. I was hoping there was a way to backup the user & wallboard screens, historical reports settings, etc. as well. david |
It is all in the SQL database so no worries.

How to move CCR installation to new server & not lose user & wallboard settings?
Hello,
So is it correct that if I follow the Avaya instructions to move the SQL database to a new server that also the custom user reports, views, and wallboards layouts settings will transfer also? Has anyone here done this and can confirm? Thanks, David |
