Speech to Text transcription
 
I have the following business need. Does Avaya have a product that can do this?

While an agent is troubleshooting a problem on the phone with a customer a series of questions are being asked and answers are being given. I need a method to capture the questions and answers in text form. It would be fine if the agent had to push a button to 'turn on the transcribing" for a period of time. Or it would be fine if the entire call was transcribed from speech to text.

In case others view this thread that didn't see the corresponding DevConnect post, Avaya unfortunately doesn't have this functionality in our portfolio right now.

fyi - I spoke with jeff@zang.io, and it looks like Avaya's Zang can do what we need. Essentially the agent/engineer would conference in the zang service, and transcribe everything said while conferenced in, or we could be a bit fancier and press key's to turn on/off transcription during the call if we just want certain segments. Transcription sent almost immediately upon end of call or turning off transcription during call.
