CSCM 7.8 major alarm Cannot use CallInformationServices
 
Hello,

Although everything is functioning recordings and playback, but there is a major alarm Cannot use CallInformationServices on CSCM recorder 7.8 sp1 patch 78116.

This is a master/standby setup the alarms still showing even after restarting the AES CSCM servers.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this.

This alarm indicates that the recorder was not able to use DMCC callinformation services for a particluar call or all calls.

There is a problem in AES, either software or configuration.

Check configuration first, and if necessary, you will need to increase the log level of DMCC in AES and review the error generated in the traces.

Although you say recordings are fine, you will be missing key call metadata when you look at the recording in search and replay.
