When MPP automatically restart
 

Hi. All.

I got the following error messages from VPMS web admin.

POMS_00339 MPP hkmpp1 unexpectedly entered the Running state ,

POMS_00099 MPP hkmpp1 unexpectedly is stopping Method=VPMPP::processStateChange,

PMMGR00006 "MediaManager received fatal error from subsystem EndPointMgr, resetting process FileName=MediaMgr.cpp LineNumber=654, "

PSYSM00031 "The MPP process /opt/Avaya/VoicePortal/MPP/bin/MediaManager reports it has entered the fatal state. Will stop/restart all MPP processes. FileName=mppsysproc.cpp LineNumber=909, "

I understand MPP automatically restart when MPP has some problem or error.

That log just said "it has entered the fatal state".
I don't know why MPP has entered the fatal state.

Can you tell me some examples when MPP has auto-restart? as much as possible.

For example, h.323 connection problem for 5 minutes or CPU 100% for 5 minutes.

Hi

MPP restarts automatically when any of the components of MPP fail to recover .
First the MPP components try to recover themselves, if this does not happen then all the MPP processes are restarted.
