Not sure which endpoint (softpphone/IP agent/onex communicaor /onex-agent) you are using. But if you didn't change the setting for these endpoints, the auto setting should be modified by main volume...

It should be issue with installation CD you are using. If you have ISO image for CM5.2.1, you can burn a new CD with the lowest speed , then try to install with the new CD.
