Avaya offers a Lifetime product warranty for the Ethernet Routing Switch (ERS) 2000 Series, ERS 3000 Series, ERS 4000 Series, ERS 5000 Series and Virtual Services Platform (VSP) 7000 product lines that were shipped by Avaya or Nortel Enterprise Solutions on or after July 1, 2009. This includes Products that were purchased directly by End Users (Avaya direct sales) or via Channel Partners (Avaya indirect sales), and covers both new stock and remanufactured Products.

For shipments/purchases prior to this date there is no retroactive entitlement to the enhanced Lifetime Hardware Warranty and Basic Technical Support. The original warranty and entitlements will remain in force for older purchases.

If the original warranty and entitlement has expired, you will need a maintenance contract. Contact information is available on, under “Help & Policies” select “Contact Avaya Support” on the main page, in the bottom navigation menu. When the Contact page opens, select the country where maintenance support is required. Then look in the area entitled For Heritage Nortel Products > Heritage Nortel Service Contract Entitlement and Manual Quoting.
