Angry S8800 MBT System Platform R5.2 Failover

I have just installed S8800 HA MBT R5.2 and had failover configured and working. After a couple software upgrades we cannot get failover to start. In selecting to start failover the server tells me it is going to reset, (which it previouly did prior to the upgrades) but now it tells me it is restarting but it never does and the server continues to work and never resets (basically nothing happens). My next step I think would be to remove failover, reconfigure it and then try a restart again. I am having issues with AVAYA getting access with SAL and as this is a call center I don't want to reset and play with the system until I can be sure. Has any one had issues with getting failover to start and perhaps what experiences you have had. Thanks.
