Default Need help on avaya IP office 500 V2

Hi All,

my office is currently purchase avaya ip office 500 v2 system with ip phone 1608 model. Would anyone guide me how to configure the ip office in order register ip phone 1608. I need to configure internal extension and assign to particular phone? I can't make it work...

When the phone booted and got the dhcp assigned, it request me to enter extension, which i enter the extension defined in the office system but given me the error of extension error or in use....pls help me...

Add an H.323 extension in the IPO and enable LAN1 in the System tab as an H.323 gatekeeper. Create a user profile for that H.323 extension and log the phone in with the same security code defined in the user profile.
