Hello: I am tasked with integrating my IP Office 500v2 release 9.1 with an Intertel Axxess.
All documentation indicates off the IP Office to a media converter (T-1 to Ethernet) of some sort (Adtran perhaps) to a media converter (Ethernet to T-1) on the Intertel side. Purpose of this is just 4 digit dialing. Has anyone done this successfully and if so was this how? Any recommendations or pointers? Thanks, Jennifer |

As long as you can program the Intertel it should be easy enough, you can create your 4 digit dialing short code in the IP Office and send it over the SIP trunk, which is just connecting to the media converter (an Adtran unless you have the money for a Cisco device.) Program the Adtran to send any IP call to the PRI and any PRI call to the IP trunk. Also make sure you have the incoming call routes on the IP Office from the SIP trunk to go to the different extensions.

Hi there, ibalab. A friend of mine uses a solution called Tenfold for integration with Avaya. They support integration for a lot of systems, they're listed on their website. I also found that you can request integration from them as well.
