Default Scheduled configuration backup of 4800 switches

Hello:

I'd like to know whether there is a way (command) to perform scheduled/automatic configuration backups in an AVAYA 4850GTS switch.

Best regards, Faimy.

Not on the Switches themselves, but there are several possibilities to perform a scheduled Config backup externally. A few examples are:
* COM Server
* Rancid (http://www.shrubbery.net/rancid/)
* A Homegrown script (i.e. that is run via Cron on a Linux box) that uses SNMPv2 or v3 to trigger a Configuration backup

login to COM -> Goto Managers -> BCM ( Bulk configuration Manager) -> in navigation panel and select configuration backup and restore...
It will bacup you configuration.
if you want to schedule goto scheduler a new window will open and you can add a new schedule by pressing (+). Also, need to seleck tool name for example configuration backup and task name.
