I am receiving alarm TMA000056E on my SMGR. It is caused by the weblm_legacy certificate expiring in 60 days. Instructions say to go to Manage Elements page, check weblm box and click renew. However when I do I get an error message that states System Manager did not issue that certificate. Does anyone know how to renew this certificate?

Try this.
Resolution To manually renew this certificate, login to the System Manager and navigate to Home / Elements / Inventory / Manage Elements. Select the Session Manager instance that needs its certificate renewed. Click More Actions and select Configure Identity Certificates. Select smmgmt (note the expiration date) and click renew. Once completed, the renewed certificate will be valid for two years. This procedure is not service affecting. |

Thank you for your response rcha164. I tried that but the alarm is not against any of the SM's. It is against the SMGR. The alarm gives the IP address of the SMGR and it says "weblm_legacy, TMA00056E. Certifcate about to expire on remote element." There is no alarm against anhy of the SM's.
Thanks again. alindquist |

We found a KB article, Doc ID SOLN237193 showing the steps necessary to update the Web_LM certificate.
