Default One X Attendant keeps crashing

Hi all,

OneX Attd on a Windows 7 32 bit PC - single system install. System keeps crashing, with associated information in Windows log that Telephony service has entered the stop state (7036). It then restarts the service.

It's the latest version of One X (SP 5). This happens with both a USB headset and a standard audio jack headset.

Has anyone come across this/have any suggestions? We've a few successful installs of this software out there on Windows 7 in 32 and 64 bit so I'm inclined to think this is more likely to be a problem with the customer's Windows build but they're looking for a response.

Thanks.

i had some issues with 1x attendant on windows 7...it keeps hanging and we had to restart the system to make it work, but after sometime it started working fine, seems like it was some windows update that was causing the issue...i would suggest you to update your windows and then monitor

Hi Asiddi,

There are so many things that cause One X Attd to stop working on Windows 7 that I'm thinking of writing a book!

I'm wondering if the Windows Telephony Service is actually required for the software as this might actually be the issue - do you have the telephony service running on your Win 7 machine?

Thanks,

Terri

Default One-X Attendant; Application Hang; Event ID 1002 (crashes)

User starts pc, waits for all items to be connected before launching OneX Attendant. Works for 1 - 2 hours (it failed on me at about 20 mintutes this AM when testing) and OneX hangs. Not sure if it hangs before the call comes in or if it happens just as the call comes in. User is busy working when she hears a call come in. OneX usually comes to the front, but when it does not the user trys to bring it to the front by clicking on the program in the task bar. It does not respond (crashes). User needs to end the task on the program and relaunch, auto in again before she can take the call, if it is still there. This happens throughout the day.

PC: Dell OptiPlex 755 DT (4GB); Windows 7 Professional 32bit, Office 2010
One-X Attendant 3.06.001

I have tried many things to get this to work properly. Gone so far as to reclone the pc and install all other devices before loading OneX and still same issue. Have another pc just like this one with the exception of the monitor being smaller and it is working fine.

I do not know what else to do and any help anyone can supply would be greatly apprecaited.
