Default Overhead Paging DTMF sounds

Looking for help on a overhead paging configuration. I have it working however I am hearing the DTMF tones of the short code that I set up to start the overhead page.

I am using a IP500V2 (9.1) with a analog trunk port for overhead paging. I have a Viking CPA 7B paging amp that is then connected to the speakers.

I set up a short code for the page call of *88. The short code works, but prior to audio I hear the 3 DTMF tones of "* 8 8".

Is there any way to block the tones?

What is the full short code? If you have anything like N or XXX in the Telephone Number field then the IP Office system will be passing through the dialled digits on the assumption that they need to be passed to the analog trunk provider.
