I have 2 4550t-pwr I going to have a voip solution. My issue is how to configure the access ports (Data Voice ports).
Since we have this 4 port options. tagAll untagAll tagPvidOnly untagPvidOnly Not just that but the VLAN Configuration Control have this options. Strict Automatic AutoPVID Flexible So I need an example which combination is the one I need. My topology is like this. PC___PHONE____Switch____Core Switch______Switch____Phone__¨PC VLAN 20 Voice VLAN 30 Data VLAN 1 Native Any advice. Thank you |

These access ports must be configured as UntagPVIDOnly with data VLAN and DefaultVLAN/PVID configured. So the data traffic will be untagged and the voice traffic will be tagged.

Hi,
And about the "VLAN control option", this isn't directly linked to VoIP. It's more a global option to set on all your switches. This option permit to set the way how to manage your VLAN and PVID assignement. The "strict" mode is the factory default and probably the best way to get something consistent.
