Default IPOv2 R6 Analog ports

will the analog ports ring a standard 500/2500 telephone or fax machine. It seems the earlier IPO versions had a problem with this?

Default ANALOG PORTS ON R6 IP500v2

Yes, the analog port will ring the standard analog/2500 series phone. Presenly with R6 no issue has been reported with analog series phones.

If you have faced any such issues than please raise a ticket with AVAYA.
