Hi,
I am planning to purchase the IP Office 500 PBX for more than one outlet in our group. I have my customers database on our MySQL server. I want to display the customer name on the phone when they call so IP Office needs to connect to MySQL server through its IP address and find the customer by number then display it if it's exist. Is this possible? How? any resources or user guide or documentation? Thanks, Jassim |

IP Office cannot connect to a mySQL database.
You can use LDAP ( Active Directory) or import a .csv file in Manager. |

so I'll get the CSV from our MySQL and then dump it on the PBX? Correct?
Can I dump the CSV through our application using .NET? Does the IP Office provides .NET API integration? Last edited by jrahma; 06-25-2015 at 05:58 PM. |

No, only via Avaya Manager or LDAP.
So you could write a nifty app with .NET which is a LDAP server retrieving data from MySQL. If I thought it would be profitable I'd build one myself. |
