Default Unuses Eth Ports S8800 MBT


I want to use an spare ehternet port on the S8800 to add directly SIP trunk.

It is possible to do so?

In MBT, the CM eth interface is a virtual interface and is automatically managed to the physical eth0 by the Dom0. The virtual interface on the CM is used by the procr which you need for setting up SIP trunks. To the best of my knowledge you cannot manually change this to setup SIP trunks on any other ethernet ports.
