Do any of you know the format for blacklisting an entire subnet in the ASBCE 7.2? I have tried using something like w.x.y.z/24 and other formats for example but that isn't working. Apparently these hackers buy an entire subnet of addresses.

As far as I know, only URIs in plain or regex form can be defined in the security rule blacklist. Where in the SBC are you trying to define blacklisted subnets?

DMZ Services>Firewall>Blacklists
Blacklisting individual IP addresses work but hackers usually pull from an entire subnet so the addresses keep changing. |

What is the IP address range you are trying to block?
If I wanted to block 77.247.110.62 which is an IP from the Netherlands that has been hitting my one of my SBCEs, I might go ahead and try and use 77.247.110.0/24 to cover the range of 77.247.110.0 - 77.247.110.255. Have you tried it that way yet? |
