Hello
Owing to a specific solution we a are developing for a customer, we would like to know if it is possible to have CM adding DTMF tones reflecting the extension number that took the call. In other words:
We just need the other end to get the DTMF tones with the ext number of the answering station. Does it make sense? Is there an easier way of doing this without CTI? Thank you |

Generally there is nothing at CM front by which you can analyze the DTMF.
You can use 3rd Party tools like eXpressDSP or Voxeo etc.

you can use the sniffer to capture the DTMF but i am not even pretty much sure it will work or not.
MST will not work i have tried. |

Is the call being answered by an analog extension like a fax server? On the IP Office you can do this by setting the caller display type to DTMFF. If not, why are you trying to send the DTMF?
