Hi all, we have an IP500 v1 running 4.2(20), 2 x DS 30 and a DS 16.
We had a power issue which caused the ip500 to hard reboot. since then we are unable to get one of the ds30's up. Sits there with a flashing green light. If we swap the module ports between the ds 30s all the extensions swap from the faulty ds to the working ds so I do not think there is an issue with the ip500. Connecting to the DTE it looks to be booting ok and then sits with ledtick: Slip Error? |

The first thing I would try is to shutdown the IP Office using Manager gracefully and power it off and all the expansion modules. I would leave everything powered off for at least 1 minute and then power all the expansion modules up first and after about a minute then power up the IP500. If you are using 4412D or 4424D+ phones you may want to unplug them before you plug in the power to the DS30 just make sure you know where they are plugged in, you may have to label the cables so you know what ports they are plugged into. If it still does not work you may want to open a case of trouble. The DS30 may be bad.
