Default Need help with changing extensions

Hello, this is my first post on these forums, hope I can get some help because I have really no idea what to do here. We are using Avaya 7316e phones in our office. I am pretty sure they are not IP phones. Some people just moved offices and now their extensions are different. How can I change this back to the way before? Will I have to physically move the cables around or is there a way to do this in the menu of the phones? I really need some help, thanks guys!

Easiest way to do this is move the cables, find out what port they were previously connected to and connect their new phone jack to that port. Otherwise you will need to make the changes in the Manager software, and if you're not familiar with the software that'll be very difficult.

Probably you have a BCM system....If you are able to connect via Business Element Manager you can go to general settings and enable a function that those digital phones will also remember their number... so you can just swap the phones on the desk like you will do on IP sets....
