Hi all,
I want to configure LDAP / AD LDS for my IPOffice Essential edition 9.0.3. Will this work, and the AD entries can be accessed from the Digital/IP Telephones? Kindly share if any document available for the same

From what I can tell, that won't work with Essentials edition. I'm pretty sure in 9.0 syncing contacts with LDAP only works with One-X portal, I could be wrong but I don't know of any way that would work without One-X portal.

Of course you can use LDAP with a essential edition. The only thing is that you must know the LDAP directory and login credentials.
Imported LDAP directory is available for all system phones which have acces to the directory. There are plenty free LDAP directory scanners on the web, use it. |

Be aware that IPO must be able to dial the number replicated from AD. You will usually not have a 0 or 9 prefix added in AD.

We always store the numbers as +1xxxxxxxxxx or +44xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in the LDAP server (MS Active Directory) and add a shortcode "+" to dial the numbers were the "+" is replaced with 00

Thanks for the replies..
Have any body configured with AD LDS(Windows 2012 Server - AD LDS)? Is it supported for IPOffice LDAP Settings?
