I'm having an issue with HAT (Handset Admin Tool) with a 6140 phone. I had it working at one point, then all of the sudden, I can't never to get the software to see the phone. I launch the software, power down the phone and place it the dual charger. The phone will then display "USB Mode ON...enumerating" and that's it. The software never shows the phone connected. I'm using HAT software version 02.08.12.00.
Any ideas as to what may be happening? |

Where can we get the latest software to download? I have two different models a Nortel 6140 and an Avaya 6140. I have HAT 3.00.3 working for Nortel 6140 but the Avaya model gives an error that License Type 36 is not supported on this model. Please avise what can be done. Thank you

Hi mdamic,
No there is no firmware updates for this model of 6140. Avaya has changed the code in the phone which will not support the latest HAT or firmware provided by Polycom for the Nortel version. Avaya tech support has also told my provider that it is not supported SIP. Hope this helps. |

Nope nothing to do with these phones. Avaya has the boards locked to their updates and there is no update to have it function wireless. We had to replace them with Spectralink 8020.

The latest HAT software can be downloaded from support.avaya.com. It works with the 6120/6140 and the 3641/3645. It provides settings to configure either H.323, UNIStim, or SIP.

Just noticed that they finally updated there firmware. I haven't tested the latest release from September.

Hi has anybody had issues with transfering a call on a 3645 wireless phone
caller can select trans (for transfer) dial number and announce caller but trans key is not there to complete the transfer ? |
