Default Help upgrading to H.323 Release 6.2.2

Hi, I am trying to apply Avaya one-X Deskphone H.323 6.2.2 (SP2) Software for the 9608/9611G/9621G/9641G phones.

I extracted all the files to my main directory, copied over a new 46xxsettings.txt file and modified it. Restarted and cleared my phone. Once the phone is up and running, it still says that it is on V6.1.

I applied 96x1-IPT-H323-R6_2_2_09-071012.zip
I followed this readme: https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100165091

What else an I missing?

Default Help upgrading to H.323 Release 6.2.2

For the 96x1 phones you need to use a external HTTP server like IIS, you can not use Manager or the SD card as your file sever. You also need to make sure that the new 96x1Hupgrade.txt file is in the root HTTP server directory, example c:\Inetpub\wwwroot if you were using IIS in the default folder.

Here is an example of what is in the file:

*********************************************
* Application and Kernel file for 9608
*********************************************
# 9608SW
SET RFSNAME S96x1_UKR_V13r50_V13r50.tar
SET APPNAME S9608_11HALBR6_2_2_09_V452.tar
GOTO GETSET

Along with the bin files you should have recieved this file. If you have the correct files in your root HTTP folder verify that the phone is actually recieving the upgrade txt file. After it makes an attempt the response should be 1 200. If you are getting anything else it probably means it is failing. 1.1 is a common failure. I tried it in my lab and was able to upgrade using the files in the link.
