Hi all,
I am trying to apply licences for a full Aura Solution. I have a number of Foundation Suite licences, flare experience,one-X Mobile SIP, Multimedia Messaging, Communication Manager, System Manager, SBC etc. I am a bit confused as to how to generate these. I have generated for CM or MidSize Enterprise but I am not sure how to licence this now. DO I apply all licenses to the System Manager? If not where do I apply the licences? |

All licenses are generated in PLDS against the MAC address of the WebLM server. You can use a standalone WebLM (on VMware for instance) or the WebLM within System Mgr. A centralized WebLM simplifies license management.

How do I go about doing centralized Licensing. I don't understand from the documentation.

Install all licensing on the same WebLM server accessible by all products. The SMGR WebLM is probably the easiest route in your case.

How do I point the other servers to that WebLM. The Duplex CM's for example?

There is a licensing section in CM's web interface where you can enter the IP address of the WebLM server housing license files. Most of the products have some equivalent of this. See the install guides for each product for specific instructions.

Sorry to be a bother. I am looking in the CM web interface and see the licencing section but there is no option to change the weblm.

You can use this article it has good information on how to change the weblm address for Communication Manager. If you have installed Communication Manager on VMWare there is also a link under licensing to do it. This process in the link is really more for Communication Manager on System Platform as no such link exists on the Web SMI. https://support.avaya.com/public/ind...roup=UG_PUBLIC
