Default Dial Tone Issue

When i start to dial a number i have dial tone then half way though dialing the number dial tone comes back so i end up dialing the wrong number. This seems to be on digital phones only. I have s8730s and G650's with communication manager 5.2.1. I am looking for some help as what to look at to trouble shoot this? Thanks for any response

Hi Troy,

How many port networks do you have? is the issue happening to all of the digital phones in all of your port networks or is it happening to a specific port network? How often is this issue occuring? is this happening 100%?

You should check the connectivity of Medpro, Some time this happen if medpro connection lost.

for proper solution share the logs by list trace station xxxx command

Hi,
I have facing a problem with avaya digital phone series 1408.in this phone when a user receive a call from other site phone is not ringing dial tone and when user press speaker mode on phone then he can't listen dial tone.

Please help me out of this problem

This is a media issue. When a digital phone goes off hook. it should be pulling DSP resources from the media gateway or port network it is wired to.
