Default Vsp 7024xls

Hi all,

I've a number of VSP7024XLS's in my network, but doing the weekly backup of one of them I couldnt get on,

Not via SSH or EDM, the RW password is locked out,

There is no other RW account on the switch,

Would a reload (I need to change control this) resolve this issue?

Cheers in Advance

Craig

Default Regaining access to 7024XLS

Some pointers that may help you:
- There is an issue where the user accounts are reset during an upgrade from 10.3 to 10.4 software versions. Your original user ID is then renamed to rw again. Your own password is still working on this account as far as I remember.
- What happens when you connect to the console port? Could this still be open? Can you use that to regain control of your unit?

Default

This was sorted by Avaya backbone engineers doing some black magic voodoo stuff. Switch didn't need rebooting... Used logMeIn to facilitate access via console
