Default B159 / B169 / B179 Analog Conference Phones - Audio Problems

Hi All,

On a brand-new out of box B159 analog conference phone, the speakerphone audio breaks up because the built-in mics pick up the unit's own speakerphone audio and cause the audio to break up with tiny little breaks in the output.

I know this because if I mute the until while the speakerphone outputting audio, the sound is fine. If I unmute, the conference phone speaker once again gets picked up by the internal MIC and audio breaks up.

Just deployed 5 of these and they're all experiencing this issue, wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a known solution.

Thanks!
Peter.
