Default Help! Answered call --> VM

I know this is a simple question that I should know the answer to but I have no one to ask.

I am able to answer a coworker's phone number (let's call it B) from my phone (A) when they are unavailable/not at their desk.

Often, the caller wants to leave a voicemail. How do I transfer their current call directly to B's voicemail? I have tried pressing the Forward button; the Transfer button and then the Voicemail (message) big icon; but nothing works.

Please help me out!

Solution Delivered Configure a "goto-cover" Button

My understanding of your question: You have an inbound call that you wish to send to voice mail on another station.

First, you need to prep your phone to do this by setting up a goto-cover button on your phone. Once this is done, you can handle inbound calls as follows:
  1. Place the caller on hold using the transfer button. This gives you dial tone.
  2. Dial the extension of the receiving station.
  3. Immediately press the goto-cover button.
  4. Press the transfer button agian to complete the transfer.
Did that answer your question?
