Need someone from Ireland for a test...
It's about number presentation to mobile numbers.
If a call is made from the PBX to an Irish SIP trunk and the presented number is a freephone number like “+3531800xxx”, this is technically correct. However, the mobile phone cannot call back this number. It looks like the Irish mobile phone can only call “1800xxx” but not “+3531800xxx”.
In other countries, we do not have this problem.
On our side, we are always using From&PAI in E164 format, hence the +3531800xxx presentation.
Any hints would be highly appreciated! I’m trying to determinate if our interconnect with Ireland is bad, or if it is “only” the mobile phone not translating the dialed number correctly….
