I attempted to install patch 17871 for CM 5.1.2 but the file was corrupted I saw no errors but now the system does not see the patch either in the web access or through CLI commands. I found the extracted files in /opt/updates folder but I cannot delete them because dadmin does not have permission to delete files of owner root. Also, don't have access to the root login.
Any ideas? |

Way ahead of you....as a business partner we provide the customer with a maintenance contract....since they do not have an Avaya maintenance contract they are not willing to support this.

I am having the same issue in the same situation.....so how to I get rid of a update file that was interrupted if I cannot delete it? And the system says invalid file type when I attempt to remove it and I cannot overwrite it either? Once again the customer does not have Avaya Maintenance so Avaya won't help.
Is this yet another case of Avaya putting the BP in a bad spot? |
