I have the following business need. Does Avaya have a product that can do this?
While an agent is troubleshooting a problem on the phone with a customer a series of questions are being asked and answers are being given. I need a method to capture the questions and answers in text form. It would be fine if the agent had to push a button to 'turn on the transcribing" for a period of time. Or it would be fine if the entire call was transcribed from speech to text. Regards, Russ Brookes rbrookes@avaya.com

In case others view this thread that didn't see the corresponding DevConnect post, Avaya unfortunately doesn't have this functionality in our portfolio right now.

fyi - I spoke with jeff@zang.io, and it looks like Avaya's Zang can do what we need. Essentially the agent/engineer would conference in the zang service, and transcribe everything said while conferenced in, or we could be a bit fancier and press key's to turn on/off transcription during the call if we just want certain segments. Transcription sent almost immediately upon end of call or turning off transcription during call.
