I have a Partner ACS R8 with Messaging system.
when a call is transferred from extension to extension. It just bounces back after a few rings and doesn’t go in to voicemail. Please have me to fix it. Thanks |

Assign Automatic VMS Coverage to the extensions with mailboxes
At Ext 10, press Feature and dial 00 Press the left hand Intercom button twice Dial #310-(extension number), then press 1 to change the 2nd line of the display from 2-Not Assigned to 1-Assigned Repeat for each extension Press Feature and dial 00 to quit |

Sounds like you need voicemail coverage for that extension.
you will need to get into programming, and go into Auto VMS cover (#310). scroll through your extensions, until you get to the extension in question, then press the "1" button and the display should say, "1-Assigned" Feature 00 to get out of programming. |
