Hello all. I have modified the settings file to allow a user to log in as a visitor.(VUMCIPADD option) We have 3 call servers on our campus and this allows for greater mobility for the users. So a user from call server A can log in using a phone in call server B and pull in it's call server A number. The problem is that when a user is logged in as a visitor the login times out eventually. I'm not sure how long it takes but I think that is a few hours. I can't find any way to turn this off to allow a visitor to stay logged in all day. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn this off?
Thank you alindquist |

The parameter "GUESTDURATION" controls how long a visiting user is logged in for. It specifies the minimum duration (in hours) the Guest Login is effective, before the telephone automatically logs the visitor off. An integer value from 1 to 12, with a default of 2.

A co-worker has found an option called GUESTDURATION that allows the visitor to stay logged in for up to 12 hours.
