The remote IP phone is connected to the IP Office 500v2 phone switch. I can make an internal and external phone call but there is no voice on either end. Any suggestions?

How is the phone connected? Is there a VPN tunnel setup or are you just connecting to the public IP address of the IP Office? Did you try disabling "Allow Direct Media Path" on the extension? Sometimes that can cause audio issues.
