Default AADS Utility Server installation fails

Using the "app install" utility in SSH session, I go through all of
the configuration steps, but then I receive the following error when attempting to complete the installation:

"One or more mandatory fields are not set. Check for SYSTEM_MGR_IP or refer the deployment guide."

I've tried both the domain name "mtsysmgr", as well as the FQDN "mtsysmgr.avaya.local".
both say that System Manager is valid and reachable (using either of the above), but fail with the same message when I click "Continue". It won't accept just an IP address for System Manager...

Can anyone provide some guidance as to why I'm getting this error, and perhaps provide some guidance on resolution? Thanks!

Make sure you have reachable DNS with A records for SMGR and ASM FQDNs.
