I'm not sure if this post is in the correct group but I'll give it a try
![]() I have installed an Avaya 9620 with VPN and after trying and adjusting the settings I got it to work. Now when I connect my laptop to the second port of the phone I receive an ip address from my home router instead of an ip address from the VPN tunnel, is this working as designed? Or did I miss something in the configuration? Thanks |

This is working as designed. It works the same way as the 46xx ones. The other second port on the phone would work as a DHCP relay and it does not give your VPN's address.

VPN tunnel is P2P means from point (phone) to point (remote vpn server). This is a dedicate tunnel for the traffic between phone and vpn server only.
Even your computer connected to another ethernet port on VPN phone, it would still get the local address, not VPN address. |
