Hello all,
I have a CS1000 Rls 7.5 (Nortel) with four SIP trunks to a CM 6.1 (Avaya). The issue is that I am able to place calls from the CM to the CS1000 with no problem but when I call from the CS1000 to the CM, I get a few seconds of silence followed by a fast busy. The call never goes through. I think I checked all I know on the CS1000 and the CM but I'm sure I missed something along the way. I have added the trace below of a call to X20001 on the CM that may be a bit helpful. Any input is greatly apprecaited. The list trace shows that the call is hitting the CM so i guess something is missing on the CM side. Call is being answered by a 200OK but the trunk is immediately going idle. The list trace does not provide enough detail to check further. An MST would be needed to check what is happening in this.
May be an SR with the Avaya CM backbone team will help. Best Regards, Sashi |

Do you know if the call was disconnected when the RTP (media) stream comes up/tries to establish?
Could it be some kind of firewall that blocks RTP streams from CS1k to CM, and not the other way around? Any more logs on the CM side you might have, or from the phones/systems itself? Hope my two cents helps.. ![]() |
