Can someone from Avaya tell me if it's required to actually enter the SID (provided by the SAL group) into CM 6.x's SMI? I have found several Avaya BPs that are not doing it and wondered if it was still required as it's no longer loaded automatically through RFA files?

Hello,
Please refer to the link below - http://support.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100089133 SID - Is the system ID. This ID must be the same for the main server and each survivable server. Avaya provides the system ID when you submit the Universal Install/SAL Product Registration Request form. I hope this answers your question. Thanks, Tristan |
