Hello -
I am having to work on upgrading our Avaya infrastructure to the last 6.3 patches and I have successfully fumbled my way through the upgrades of all the parts (SP, CM, Kernel, Utility Services) but I am stumped at the BSM. I have read quite a few documents that says the CM platform upgrade/update will address the BSM, but then when I look at the latest Session Manager patches and there are BSM fixes there, that I don't see being applied to my BSM once I patched CM to 03.0.124.0-22505. Then I read a document (And I can't find it now after my PC abruptly shut down) that talks about some commands on how to upgrade a BSM using the ISO File from Avaya. So I guess the question for the folks that have BSMs, how do you handle the upgrade of this product? Thanks for any input on this! James |

https://support.avaya.com/downloads/...roductId=P0001 when I upgrade to this version it upgraded cm, bsm, and utility server. The only problem I'm having now is under cm-lsp it not showing the software version but it communicating back to main core and the gateway is register. 6.3.0.0.1105.iso was suggest by Avaya Tech support for our system.

Service packs are installed on BSMs exactly like core SMs. Copy the ISO to the BSM virtual machine in the home directory of your customer account, and run the upgradeSM script. I recently upgraded multiple BSMs to 6.3.14.
