Default 1608 phone disconnecting intermitently

I am facing an issue currently with 1608 phones the phone is getting intermittent disconnection/hanging every time.

I have used different phone model in Avaya system same issue.
i used phone model 1608 for other model phone nits working fine.
i feel the issue is with 1608 phone(firmware i can see 1.302). Please some one help to is it a firmware issue.

If its firmware issue how i can resolve it

you need to first isolate this, does this happen for internal 2 party call as well ? is there any error on the list trace station ?

There is a fix in 1.3.6 => SAGE16XX-846 Call drop after 15 hours with RTCP enabled. not sure if you have same symptom. Nothing wrong in upgrading few phones and testing it.

Its happening for both internal and outside call.

just help me with steps to upgrade the firmware

Hello,

all you need to do is replace the firmware files in your file server which your phones are using. (refer: https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100174154)

i think there is a video in youtube which you can refer as well
