Default CS1000E SIPL endpoint CLID issue~

Hi eveybody~

recently~ i installed SIPL gateway(SLG) on CS1000 Rls 6.0

CS1000E has 2 types SIPL endpoint

1 type is 1140 SIP firmware. 1 type is 3th party SIP endpoint~

i found 3th party sip endpoint clid issue.

unistim phone <-------------> 1140 sip firmware phone (CLID ok)
unistime phone <-----------> 3th party sip phone (CLID ok. but strange texts add behine clid)

is there a patch to resolve problem ?

Default CS1000E SIPL endpoint CLID issue~

I am not able to understand the issue without more details regarding this.

As per my action plan, please check following points to narrow down the issue.

1. Patch level of Sig Server/SLG
2. CLID table in LD21 and in Phone configuration
3. SIP traces analysis when call is reaching to SIP Endpoint
4. Which 3rdParty SIP Endpoint customer using and any special configuration required from CS1K( Check from 3rd Party)

As CLID is proper for Nortel Unistim phones it give me impression that message flow is fine.

If this doesn't give the much insight about the issue, please raise a ticket with Avaya Support.

point is to remove Phone-context filed from clid.

we have to capture the sniffer trace from the 3rd SIP Line or capture the SLG SIP log in /var/log/nortel/ss_common or SLG TLAN sniffer trace ]harden nettools on ]pcapStart
Then duplicate the problem (please mention the call scenario in detail, such as calling number, called number) . In the INVITE sent from SLG to SIP Line phoneset, the header "P-Asserted-Indentity" will contain calling number name. If the pcap trace does show SLG send the correct PAI with calling party name, it is depend on the 3rd SIP Line to display this info .
