Hi Henning,
The answer is No. MCC is no longer supported in CM 6.X If you will check the document Avaya Aura® Communication Manager Hardware Description and Reference for CM6, MCC is no longer mentioned in the list of Media gateways. You may check it in the below link. https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100089460 Additonally looking at the document Upgrading to Avaya Aura® Communication Manager Release" Under the topic "Upgrading DEFINITY SI or R Server to the S8800 Server"on page 255 owhich is on the below link https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100089318 Introduction This section describes the procedure to upgrade the following servers to Communication Manager Release 6.0.1 on S8800 Server, HP ProLiant DL360 G7 Server or Dell™ PowerEdge™ R610 Server: • DEFINITY SI Server in an SCC1 or an MCC1 • DEFINITY R Server in an MCC1 In this procedure: • You discard: - All port networks (SCCs or MCCs) - SI or R processor circuit pack • You install: - A G650 Media Gateway and move the supported circuit packs to the media gateway. - An S8800 Server, HP ProLiant DL360 G7 Server, or Dell™ PowerEdge™ R610 Server running System Platform and the simplex main/survivable core template (CM_Simplex).
