I am looking for Voice mail to email option in the CMM 6.2 ( which is the part of MES 6.2, midsize enterprise template). Both CM and CMM using the same IP address.
When someone calls extensions and leave a voice mail then user want the .wav file in the email inbox. We have approx. 80+ users using the Voice mail option right now. Do we have any specific doc on this. I search in implementation and admin guides but nothing useful for me. I do have some idea on this configuration but not very confident on this. Any help on this will be highly appreciated. Someone even told me that even in CMM 6.2 this is not possible, we need third party product to make this possible. Not sure on this. Thanks Amit |

Hi Amit,
There is a shared video from the avayamentor regarding How to configure and use Internet Messaging on CMM. Below is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3s4Oe6bDko If you configure it like above. You are configuring your outlook to pull the message from CMM. But you cannot have your CMM to push the messages automatically to your client. As what you have mentioned there is s some 3rd party software that may do that. You might try to look at the software called mutare but this will involve some cost amount of money for integration Hope this Helps Last edited by rvengco; 08-06-2013 at 02:40 AM. |

It is also important for CMM to reach DNS server (it will use the DNS ip entered at Midsize setup), so MXes will be resolved correctly |

Please keep in mind CMM is a **** product that avaya gives away as a "freebie." If you want any real features such as being able to put in a subject line in the email you will be required to use AAM using the mainstream license.
