We use 9 to dial out, we ran into a problem where a user would press redial for a long distance number and was not able to call since the country code was not included in the redial. We setup a short code so that when you would dial 9 the (1) would automatically be dialed. This fixed that issue however it created a new one. Since the (1) is automatic we can not dial international since it would be a different country code for example (0). Does anyone have any recommendations for this issue at hand?

Add a prefix of 9 to the trunk the calls are coming in on, that way in your call history it shows as the person calling from 9+the caller ID, and then remove the other change you made.
