Default IP Office Vmail light won't go out

info::::IP office system ver 8.1 and we're using VoiceMail Pro for Vmail..
Phone is an Avaya 5402

The Vmail light will not go out. No messages in users box.
She belongs to a hunt group but there are no messages for the group and I removed her from the hunt group just to be certain.

Disabled Vmail on her extensions via Vmail Pro client
Disabled Vmail on her extension via IP office Manager
Cleared mail box, even though it was empty, via Vmail Pro client
System status on her extension shows # of new messages = 0 , message waiting ON

Still, light stays on .

The light can be lit for other means as a VM message.
To turn off the light create a shortcode like this:
SC = *99 ( or what ever you use as a shortcode )
TN = U"; Msgs=0"
Function = Display Msg
Then on the phone with the light lit dial *99
the light will go off

Move the Account folder, the Name, and the Greeting to the desktop temporarily. Rename the User and Merge. Stop and restart VM Pro services. Name the user back the old way. Merge. Move the contents of the Account folder into the newly created folder, move the name and greeting recordings back.

Or go in the account folder on VM Pro and edit the messages.txt file and reboot VM Pro, but a shortcode is easier. And I am lazy by nature....

Smile Check the lighting in the room

I had a customer complain about this once. Their phone sat in direct sunlight. The solution: shut the curtain. The light that was never on, went out!
